Description
Alpha Food Service LLC is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer who will be accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the Company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve the Company's assets and report accurate financial results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of overall Company policies, guidelines and procedures for budget, administration, financial reporting, financial management systems, cash and credit management;
- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to executive management and direct monthly preparation of financial reports to CEO and State Authorities;
- Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and Company's long-term strategy;
- Manage all financing activities of the Company, including timing, structure and marketing of financing instruments, as well as direct activities of all financing team members;
- Manage the preparation of annual operating budgets and long-term capital improvement plan budgets;
- Coordinate periodic monitoring and reporting on both operating and capital budgets;
- Manage revenue forecasting process as well as rate and fee setting activities;
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed;
- Oversee cash, investment and asset management;
- Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships;
- Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team;
- Represent the Authority to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.;
- Oversee the Accounting Department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function;
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures;
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for all stakeholders;
- Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements;
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions;
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems;
- Perform other duties as required by the CEO.
RequiredQualifications
- In depth knowledge of corporate finance and risk management practices;
- Perfect knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control practices;
- Knowledge of tax legislation of the Republic of Armenia;
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems;
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections;
- Strong organizational and managerial skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Availability of a CFA Certificate is preferable;
- Business acumen; strategic thinking;
- Problem-solving skills; excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods;
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software;
- Strong leadership and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and people skills;
- Analytical mind; a person comfortable with numbers.
