Description
Rosgosstrakh-Armenia ICJSC is looking for a hardworking, motivated teamworker to join the Company. The incumbent will use knowledge of commercial, economic principles and mathematical modeling for forecasting, assessing and planning future risks.
Responsibilities
- Calculate and justify insurance premiums;
- Periodically review if the premiums are sufficient and adequate to cover undertaken liabilities arising out of insurance contracts;
- Gather necessary information and reports from relevant departments of the Company for fulfilling obligations;
- Examine adequacy of technical reserves formed in accordance with the requirements of the Insurance Law of the RA and other regulations;
- Prepare, submit or publish reports defined by the RA laws and CBA regulations to comply with CBA requirements;
- Cooperate with the Sales Department of the Company in respect of the development and pricing of insurance services.
RequiredQualifications
- Higher education in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or other analytical field;
- At least 2 years of professional experience;
- Availability of professional certification or readiness to pass the exam in the Central Bank of Armenia to get the Responsible Actuary's certificate;
- Excellent research and analytical skills and flexibility;
- Excellent knowledge of mathematical modeling techniques;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel;
- Knowledge of statistical programs;
- Knowledge of accounting, especially reporting forms;
- Fluency in Armenian, Russian and English languages;
- Good communication skills, including the ability to provide complex information to others;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability to write clear reports;
- Knowledge of programming basics is an asset.
