Description
Bass Boutique Hotel is seeking a dynamic Reservations Manager to join its team. This unique individual must possess excellent communication skills in customer relations, be flexible in targeting new business and exceed established goals for their market segment. The Reservations Manager will represent Company's products and services to existing/ potential customers and assist them in selecting the best suited to their needs.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Hotel and local reservations;
- Handle correspondences, sort out letters, telexes, fax and cables which are already checked by Front Office Manager;
- Daily review booked reservations;
- Review arrival report daily;
- Responsible for the preparation of occupancy forecast;
- Responsible for training staff;
- Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures;
- Responsible for recording Company/ travel agent rates both in the system and correspondence file;
- Liaise with the Sales Department in regards to occupancy and reservation rates analysis;
- Identify top producing accounts and ensure proper recognition by the reservation staff;
- Supervise group reservations;
- Maintain cordial relations with commercial clients;
- Responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly position at all times.
RequiredQualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Reservation Supervisor;
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality/ Tourism Management would be an asset;
- Computer literacy with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications;
- Superior written and oral communication skills in Russian and English languages;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities for self.
