Description
Synopsys is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit Design Engineer who has working knowledge of the field and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
Responsibilities
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data;
- Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results;
- Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability;
- Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems;
- Determine design approaches and parameters;
- Determine and develop solutions;
- Provide regular updates to manager on project status;
- Represent the organization on business unit and company-wide projects;
- Guide more junior peers with aspects of their job;
- Frequently network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
RequiredQualifications
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system (user level);
- Familiarity with one or more IC design CAD packages;
- Good knowledge and more than 5 years of experience in analog schematic design;
- Familiarity with layout design;
- Good skills in English language;
- Ability to independently resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis;
- Ability to exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions;
- Ability to perform in a project leadership role and contribute to complex aspects of a project.
