Responsibilities

- Build efficient and reusable PHP modules
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integrate data storage solutions

RequiredQualifications

- Strong knowledge and at least 2 years of experience with PHP (Laravel), MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Proven track record of building complex, enterprise scalable applications using the above technologies
- Understanding of the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creation of database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Ability to optimize pages for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility
- Ability to work independently on tasks, but as part of as Agile Scrum team
- Troubleshoot for potential bugs
- Create fast and efficient code
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills
- Strong self-organization and self-management skills
