Responsibilities
- Facilitate the dispatching of loads from one destination to another by accurately and promptly inputting order information in the system
- Dispatch freight for delivery and arrange for pickups
- Provide daily follow-up and status updates to customers regarding shipments
- Answer phone calls and provide necessary information in professional manner
- Build a favorable and professional company image through phone interaction and account management
- Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with no delay
- Negotiate with customers and other involved parties to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Record shipment data such as weight, charges, special requirements, damages or other details
- Fill necessary documentation for closing the deal with the customer
- Strictly follow company business processes
- Rectify problems such as damages, delays and non-conformance to specifications
- Document and escalate any customer service issues and/or shipping/receiving errors to management
- Complete and provide reports to management when required
- Other domain-related tasks as assigned by management
RequiredQualifications
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and oral
- Students are also welcome (could be a good chance for combining education with work)
- Strong negotiations and sales skills
- Proactive problem solving
- Ability to handle volume of 70-80 calls per day
- Detail oriented and ability to track multiple processes simultaneously
- Computer-savvy and data entry skills
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, with people of different nationalities and backgrounds
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to strictly follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations
- Highly energetic and motivated
