Description
Hi-Tech Gateway is looking for a Linux administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving them accordingly.

Responsibilities
-Experience working as a Linux system administrator using and configuring high available LAMP, LEMP based systems
-Web and Java Application Server Administration
-Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
-Monitor IT systems
-Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
-Work with monitoring/alerting systems, troubleshoot and solve arising issues engaging other teams if needed
-Act rapidly in critical situations handling multiple alerts simultaneously
-Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
-Engage with systems application and engineering teams with service improvements, incident post mortems and new service projects
-Follow operations policies and procedures for production Installing, configuring, and maintaining production systems and applications
-Deploy new releases and patches to test and production environments manually and with release automation
-Manage, track, report and process assigned tickets daily and across shifts
-Create reports and ensure proper workflow
-Ability to document, update, and maintain all processes and procedures relating to the responsibilities and organizational requirements
-Supporting 24x7 On-Call rotation; etc.

RequiredQualifications
-3 years of experience IT field
-Written and verbal communication skills in English language
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in other related area
-Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Servers
-Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux (CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu)
-Strong knowledge of Web servers and Application servers (NGINX, Apache, HA Proxy, Apache, Apache Tomcat, MySQL, etc.)
-Bash scripting
-Troubleshooting skills
-Computer Networking skills (Switching, Routing, Firewalls Monitoring)
-Strong analytical and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives
