Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains all network systems, applications, security and network configurations 
  
• Recommends upgrades, maintains current system and implements new network equipment 
  
• Manages security operations entailing responding to incidents, monitoring, and maintaining systems relating to network security 
  
• Manages the performance of network hardware and software platforms 
  
• Handles complex problems, maintaining continuity of normal workflow, standards and regulations, solving new or unfamiliar problems 
  
• Mentors, supports and help direct less experienced network administrators as needed
  

RequiredQualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities 
  
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment 
  
• Hands-on experience in LAN / WAN design and administration 
  
• Strong knowledge of advanced IP routing and switching technologies 
  
• Understanding of logical network design including: DMZs, WANs, and client connectivity solutions 
  
• Directly related experience in network analysis and design 
  
• This role requires strong communication skills 
  
• The following certifications are a plus: CCNA, CCNP
