Responsibilities
- Developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
- Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety
- Evaluating procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the safety code
- Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
- Inspecting equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
- Preparing weekly/monthly reports on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics
- Ordering substitutes for unsafe and/or damaged equipment
- Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the worksite
RequiredQualifications
- Higher education
- Proven experience as safety officer
- Understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
- Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
- Languages: English and Russian – advanced level (Spanish will be an advantage)
- Computer skills: MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure in multitask environment
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
