Responsibilities

- Work closely with the development team to define test plans and test cases throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks
- Implement automated test suites based on the product test plans
- Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated software tests both during early development stages, pre-release and post-release periods
- Be responsible for tracking and troubleshooting defects
- Report periodically on the current QA status of the product
- Schedule, organize and complete work in accordance with the deadlines

RequiredQualifications

- At least 3 years of experience in QA
- 1+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Expert knowledge of the quality assurance techniques, testing concepts and methodologies including tools like TestRail, Testlink etc.
- Solid understanding of the overall software product development/release lifecycle and practical experience in SCRUM/Agile development process, including related tools like JIRA, Trello, Confluence
- Good knowledge and practical experience in test automation tools/frameworks like Postman, Selenium, Appium, jUnit/TestNG, JMeter etc.
- Good knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, JS
- Proficiency in fundamental technologies used in web/mobile apps development, e.g. HTTP/HTTPS, websockets, SQL/noSQL
- Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communications skills
- Good knowledge of verbal and written English/Russian languages Desired qualifications:
- Experience in cloud computing technologies like AWS, Redhat OpenShift
- Experience in continuous integration/dev ops tools and technologies like Jenkins, CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes
- Practical experience of working on Linux platform
