Description
Instigate Mobile is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer as a full-time team member to join its team in Goris, Armenia. Yerevan can also be considered for ramp-up period. He/she will lead the design and development of the automated testing solutions for projects from various industries.
Responsibilities
-Work closely with the development team to define test plans and test cases throughout the development lifecycle
-Design test automation frameworks which will be used to implement automated test suites
-Plan, schedule and perform manual and automated software tests both during early development stages, pre-release and post-release periods
-Be responsible for tracking and troubleshooting defects
-Report periodically on the current QA status of the product
-Improve continuously the QA process by introducing new tools/frameworks/methodologies and developing internal productivity tools
-Schedule, organize and complete the work in accordance with deadlines
RequiredQualifications
-At least 4 years of experience in QA
-2+ years of experience as a Senior QA Engineer
-Expert knowledge of the quality assurance techniques, testing concepts and methodologies, including tools like TestRail, Testlink etc
-Solid understanding of the overall software product development/release lifecycle and practical experience in SCRUM/Agile development process, including related tools like JIRA, Trello, Confluence
-Expert knowledge and solid practical experience in test automation tools/frameworks like Postman, Selenium, Appium, jUnit/TestNG, JMeter etc,
-Expert knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby, JS
-Proficiency in fundamental technologies used in web/mobile apps development, e.g. HTTP/HTTPS, websockets, SQL/noSQL
-Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
-Good leadership skills, including strong mentoring, motivating and inspiring abilities
-Excellent knowledge of verbal and written English/Russian languages
-DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience in cloud computing technologies, like AWS, Redhat OpenShift
-Experience in continuous integration/dev ops tools and technologies like Jenkins, CircleCI, Docker, Kubernetes
-Solid practical experience of working on Linux platform
-Team management experience
