Description
The ICRC Delegation in Armenia is announcing full-time vacant position of Hotline/Call Center Agent-Translator based in Yerevan.
Responsibilities
-Under supervision of the F&A Manager, the Hotline/Call Center Agent-Translator will maintain call center agent duties distributing ICRC telephone communication inquiries and provide/implement translation services.
-Answers internal and external calls in a timely and courteous manner
-Handles the switchboard and puts callers through to the appropriate person, routes inquiries based on the specific claim
-Keeps records of the inquiries database
-Prepares analysis on monthly basis and distributes to concerned departments
-Organizes and sets up teleconferences for the ICRC staff
-Performs written translation (from Armenian and/or Russian to English and vice versa):
-Translates internal & external documents / publications (official & non), using specific vocabulary if required
-Translation of confidential and strictly confidential documentation and correspondence
-Performs interpretation (from Armenian and/or Russian to English and vice versa):
-Communications with internal or external interlocutors for all departments
-Workshops and seminars within the framework of ICRC activities when required
RequiredQualifications
-University degree (qualified translator)
-At least 3 years of relevant work experience in both fields
-Very good computer literacy
-Experience in online information searching, filtering and evaluating
-Good rigor, method and analytical skills
-Good knowledge of the political, social and cultural assigned environment
-Excellent knowledge of spoken and written Armenian, English and Russian
-Easy-going and able to work in a team
